So you say you're gonna break into our local nuclear power plant? I really don't think that's possible

  • movie hacker:

*types a few keystrokes* I'm in

  • real hacker:

But the power plant's computers aren't even connected to the internet

  • movie hacker:

I said I'm in. Now I'll cause a meltdown *types a few keystrokes* Done

  • real hacker:

What do you mean done? There have to be many redundant safeguards in place to stop a meltdown. In any case, a meltdown would take time.

  • movie hacker:

Want me to break into the CIA next?

  • real hacker:

I don't even think you should attempt to...

  • movie hacker:

*types a few keystrokes* Too late. I'm in

Social anxiety isn’t “omg I hate people lol I wish I was sleeping and watching netflix!”.
It’s “I want desperately to be able to hang out with people but I hate the feeling of sheer panic and fear I get around them so I don’t/ can’t and it eats away at me every day so I end up just staying home and say I’m sleeping or watching something”

I’m actually crying right now. Something that seemed impossible for me might actually happen in the future. I just hope this isn’t repealed by the time I feel comfortable enough in my life to transition. I know this doesn’t seem important to most people but this just gave me another reason to keep moving forward with my life. 🙏

I HOPE THIS IS A THING FOR MY AMERICAN FRIENDS AHH!!!

this could very well prevent some people from committing suicide
one of the largest issues is that reassignment surgery is ridiculously expensive and since many transgender people are faced w the fact they may never be who they know they are it is a fast downward spiral toward worse depression and ultimately self harm or suicide
reassignment surgery should absolutely be covered by insurance - it’s bullshit how large insurance companies claim it as “cosmetic”
